December 12, 2025
In celebration of the holiday season and the days leading up to winter break, Student Council will sponsor Spirit Days beginning Wednesday, December 17. Students are encouraged to participate by dressing according to each day’s theme. Spirit points and prizes will be awarded. Please see the graphic below for details.
We also have several activities planned to support student engagement:
• Wednesday: Student Council Social Winter Social.
• Monday, December 22 (Cycle Day 7-4): Advisory Door Decorating Contest.
•Tuesday, December 23 (Cycle Day 6) 11:30 AM Dismissal: Student Council Hot Chocolate Social and the Spartan PBIS Mega Prize Table. This is an opportunity for students to redeem Spartan Bucks for demonstrating our Core Values: Respect, Responsible, Ready, and Resilient.
With winter break approaching, please encourage your child to check their grades in HAC. Students should use next week to complete missing work or seek extra help so they can enter the break in a strong academic position. As a reminder, no assignments will be given over the holidays.

Rose Tree Media School District is committed to improving our society today, and for future generations, through outstanding education, awareness, and appreciation of all people. We work to carry out this mission by exhibiting respect for diversity among our student body, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual identity, disability, socioeconomic class, and religion. The mission of F.A.R.E. is to promote and encourage diversity awareness, provide family support, engage in networking, and create deeper unity and understanding within the Rose Tree Media School District and the surrounding community.
Click on the FARE Information document to learn about upcoming opportunities to get involved and meeting information.
Please also refer to the school calendar for meeting dates and any rescheduling.
Cell Phones and Electronic Devices
To keep classrooms focused and learning uninterrupted, all wireless devices, including cell phones, smart watches, earbuds, and similar devices, must be OFF and AWAY during the school day unless a teacher gives a specific academic reason to use them. Students will be reminded each morning to power down their devices.
Please let your child know that you will not be texting or calling during school hours. If a student needs to reach a parent, a staff member can provide permission. In an emergency, the main office is the best way to get in touch. More details are available in the Springton Lake Student Handbook.
Thank you for helping us create a safe, distraction-free learning environment!
