First Day of School

Dear GLOBE families,

The first day of school is on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

It was fantastic to meet so many GLOBE families today at Orientation. We are extremely excited to welcome new and returning students to campus for the start of the 2025-26 school year on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

Please familiarize yourself with the arrival and dismissal plans below, and be sure to arrive in plenty of time, especially as we navigate through our first day of school at the brand new Lower Campus on Azalea Circle. Staff will be on hand at both campuses to direct traffic and assist students. Watch for their instructions and please be patient as we work to streamline new processes. Arrival and dismissal plans for both campuses can also be found in the Student and Family Handbook from page 10.

Further down this email you will also find other important notes to help make the first day back as smooth as possible, along with some pictures from today's Orientation.

Thank you, we are looking forward to a very exciting year ahead!

In community,

Christi Elliott-Earby

Executive Director

Walkers at Lower Campus will not be permitted when the 2025-2026 school year begins. For the safety of all involved, we want to make sure we understand how carpool will run, what doors will be best used for entry, and optimize safety for staff, admin, and families. It is our intention and hope to welcome walkers in the future, but want to make sure we have a safe plan to do so.

Upper Campus address: 4105 Briarcliff Rd, Atlanta, GA 30345

Morning drop-off for Upper Campus: 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Upper Campus has a new Walker Flight Path which connects the entry gate at the front of the school by the Shallowford/Briarcliff crosswalk, to the walker door entrance at the rear of Upper Campus. For details click here.
