French Manie Musicale Results are in!
Our French program at Chaparral has been buzzing with excitement this Spring with the "March Madness" of French music! Along with over 4,000 schools worldwide, our students in French I thru AP spent several weeks listening to 16 Francophone artists, filling out brackets, and voting for their favorite songs. It was wonderful to see such passion for French language and culture as students debated lyrics and rhythm, and sang along! “Toucher la Lune” by Maheva won Manie Musicale 2026, defeating "Je rentre à la maison" in the final round. Congratulations to our top bracket winners: Addisyn Joyce, Kaleb Smith, Claire Block and Allison Olson! They each received a certificate and small gift. Brackets with the lowest scores received the “prix de l’escargot” (Snail prize!)
