Charleston Wrap Fundraiser
Our Fall Fundraiser is back! This year we have again partnered with Charleston Wrap, who we think you will find has AMAZING merchandise. Hopkinton Middle School earns a profit on every purchase made that helps us fund our field trips for every grade as well as our evening events. The success of the fundraiser allows us to offset the costs of events!
Your child received a packet yesterday in Hiller Block which gives you a catalog of items and information of how to shop online. The packet isn’t necessary to make a purchase, you can Click here for a Quick Ordering Link!
We hope you will find this to be a really easy fundraiser. Everything can be ordered online and shipped directly to you! Every order placed from this link will support HMS.
If you have any questions about the fundraiser or issues registering, please contact Becky Abate at rabate@hopkinton.k12.ma.us or Amelia Walcott at awalcott@hopkinton.k12.ma.us.

Notes From the Library
We wanted to bring to your attention a recent trend we’ve noticed at the school: an increase in middle school students reading and discussing books that contain extremely mature content. Last year, we sent out a notice about the book Icebreaker by Hannah Grace, which has gained popularity among teens through platforms like TikTok, despite being an adult romance novel with very explicit content.
As parents, we understand it can be challenging to navigate book choices, especially with the influence of social media. If you ever have questions or concerns about the appropriateness of a book for your child’s age, we recommend using Common Sense Media (commonsensemedia.org) as a helpful resource. They provide detailed reviews and age ratings for books, movies, and other media.

Art Supply Drive
Aishwarya Vijay, a junior at Hopkinton High School, is running an art supply donation drive in an effort to make art kits for children in need. These kits will be distributed to children at Project Just Because, a local food shelter and charity organization in Hopkinton. Any art supplies in good condition (pencils, crayons, markers, coloring books, erasers, etc.) are welcome!
