Attention parents/guardians of our spring sport athletes:

Please have your child return their jersey to Mrs. Hornquist ASAP. Please place in a bag with your child’s name on it to help ease the sorting. Elementary students can give their jersey to their classroom teacher who will put it in my mailbox. Thank you very much and have a great summer!

We have recently added School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger as an option for our students’ uniform choices. As a thank you, they are offering each family a $50 gift card to redeem at their online store. Mrs. Rahill sent an email to families with students going into kindergarten through 8th grade last week with a unique coupon code. 25 Members of the DeSales Cantors for Christ will be singing God Bless America at the Niagara County Flag Day celebration on Friday, June 12th. Community Members are welcome to attend this special ceremony.

We are going to be sending newspaper coloring books home for students (grades K-5). They are from the Niagara County Legislature and Niagara Gazette to highlight the important sites in Niagara County as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday!

As part of our celebration of America’s 250th Birthday, the Niagara County Legislature partnered with the Niagara Gazette and Union Sun & Journal to distribute coloring books of important sites in Niagara County to elementary schools. You can also download your free copy at www.niagaracounty.gov/coloringbook.

HSA Field Day will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd for students in grades 1-8. Students may wear this fun commemorative t-shirt to school that day (completely optional, gym uniform shirt is fine). Grab yours from Willow & Layne by clicking here.

At checkout, you can choose to pick up your shirt from Willow & Layne or have it delivered to DeSales. If you choose delivery to DeSales, we will send it home with your student.

If your shirt is being delivered to DeSales, you’ll receive a notification that it has been picked up when they arrive at DeSales. We will send shirts home as quickly as possible after they arrive here (please allow 1–2 days). All shirts ordered by June 12 will be delivered before Field Day.

We have a day of fun planned for students in grades 1-8 on Tuesday, June 23rd as part of our annual HSA Field Day! Our middle schoolers (grades 6-8) will enjoy a day at the Country Club pool while students in grades 1-5 enjoy activities on the school grounds. A number of volunteers are needed to make this day a success. If you can help, even for just an hour or two, please sign up using the sign-up link below. Questions?
