Reading at Home Helps at School!

We would love to see every student reading at least 5 nights per week for a minimum of 20 minutes. Reading is one of the most powerful ways to build lifelong success. Our students are completing reading challenges each nine weeks and this will help them meet more of their goals. Below are some tips to help your student at home.

At Home Reading Tips:

  • Set a Routine – Pick a regular daily reading time.

  • Find a Spot – Help your child find a comfortable spot to read.

  • Read Together – Take turns reading aloud and talking about it.

  • Talk About It – Ask simple questions to spark comprehension.

Be Present Every Day! Be Present Every Day!
