Chapel
Lower School
This week in Chapel, students from Kindergarten through 4th grade led us in a joyful morning of praise, centered around Psalm 8:2.
We explored how praise and worship go far beyond just singing songs—they are a way to express our love for God with our voices, our actions, and our hearts. We also talked about how God doesn't choose worship leaders based on age, but by the readiness and openness of their hearts.
Each grade had a special moment to sing, move, and lift their voices in worship. It quickly turned into a full-on Praise Party—filled with energy, joy, and the sweetest sounds of children leading the way! This week, we were reminded that no one is too young to lead in worship—our students proved that beautifully.
Thank you once again for the opportunity to be part of your child’s faith journey. Wishing you a wonderful week and a joyful, restful Spring Break!

From Mrs. Hamilton
From Ms. Jones
Good evening parents, I hope you all had a great weekend!
Here are the updates from our guidance lessons this week :)
In Kindergarten- 6th grade, we talked about healthy habits this week! Students learned what a habit is and what examples of those can look like in our lives. We talked through the categories of personal hygiene, foods that fuel sleep, moving your body, and use of screens and what specific healthy habits for each can look like.
In Kindergarten and 1st Grade, we played a healthy habits game where I showed them a picture card of a habit and students had to decide whether that was a healthy or unhealthy habit. They had a lot of fun moving around the room and making their healthy choices!
I had some great conversations with our students about why healthy habits are important and the benefits they give us. We talked about how healthy habits set us up for future success and are our way of taking care of the bodies and lives that God has given us. It has been fun to have students follow up even at the end of this week to let me know of healthy habits they tried out/ have already implemented :)
As always, it's a joy to serve your kids!
