PES Families,
We have an exciting week ahead with several opportunities to connect as a school community!
📌 PTO & Title I Meeting
Our first PTO meeting will be held Tuesday evening from 5:30–6:30 PM in the PES Library. During this time, we will also host our annual Title I meeting. Our PTO is eager to welcome parents who want to help make a positive impact on our campus this year. Mrs. Leal is leading the way, and we are thrilled to partner with her and our PTO team!
🎶 Grito Celebration
We will end the week with a special performance from our PES folklorico students, who have been working hard to prepare for our Grito Celebration. We can’t wait to celebrate their talents and share in the pride of our school community!
🌱 ATX Day of Service – Campus Beautification
On Saturday, September 13, PES will be part of the ATX Day of Service – 9/11 National Day of Service. Volunteers will complete more than 14 projects to help beautify our campus. This will be a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and show pride in our school. Please check our PES Facebook page and look for flyers going home this week with more details. I am honored and grateful to have so many community members leading us in this effort!
🛡️ Safety Drill
Finally, we will conduct our first Lockdown Drill this week. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority, and practicing these drills helps us stay prepared throughout the year.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. It’s going to be a great week at PES!
Let’s Go Pfire Ants!
