Dear Smith Stallion Parents and Students,
We are so proud of how hard our stallions have worked the last three AMI days! Thank you parents for working with your children. We enjoyed seeing our students working with their teachers via zoom.
IMPORTANT EVENTS:
ELPA21 Testing: We will begin ELPA21 testing for our
English Language Learners this week. Please be sure that your child gets a good night's sleep and arrives at school on time each day. We will use the following schedule:
- February 28th & March 1st: 2nd and 3rd Grade
- March 2nd & 3rd: 4th and 5th Grade
- March 7th & 8th: Kindergarten
- March 9th & 10th: 1st Grade
Read Across America Celebration: We will be celebrating Read Across America at TGS March 1st-4th with dress up days. Please see information below for the fun days we have planned.
Book Character Parade: On Friday, March 4th, we will have our Book Character Parade. Students will be able to dress like their favorite book character. Be watching for more information on how you can watch students parade in their book character costumes!
