Happy October, Bellevue!
We are now entering our first whole week of the month, and a lot is happening across our schools. October is always a busy but exciting time of year. The routines of the school year are well established, students are engaged in learning, and fall activities are in full swing.
One of the most important parts of next is Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conversations are a valuable opportunity for families and teachers to connect about student progress, celebrate growth, and discuss ways to continue supporting students. I would like to thank our teachers and staff for the time and effort they put into making these conferences meaningful, and I also want to thank parents and guardians for taking the time to partner with us. Strong communication between home and school is a key indicator of student success.
Count day, which was on October 1st, plays a key role in state funding for our schools. Thank you for getting your students to school that day. We are still waiting on the final details of the state budget. Your continued support of Bellevue helps ensure we can provide the very best opportunities for our students.
Looking ahead, our classrooms and programs continue to achieve at a high level. Whether it’s students digging deeper into projects, athletes competing on the field, or clubs and organizations building school spirit. Fall is a season of growth and activity, and it’s inspiring to see our students so engaged.
Thank you for everything you do to support our schools. Together, we’re building something special here in Bellevue.
Wishing everyone a great week ahead as we continue moving forward this school year!
