Dear Bryan Middle School Families,

We are thrilled to welcome our students back to school for the 2024-2025 school year! Our staff has been working hard to prepare for an exciting and successful year, and we can't wait to see all of our students back in the building. Please review the important information below to ensure a smooth start to the school year.

Important Dates and Times:

• August 14, 2024 – First Day of School for 6th Grade Students Only
  Time: 7:40 AM – 3:05 PM

• August 15, 2024 – All Students Report to School
  Time: 7:40 AM – 3:05 PM

Back to School Night: To kick of the school year, we have scheduled a Back to School Night on August 12 from 4 to 6:45 PM. Plan on spending at least 30 minutes at school. This event will allow you and your student to:

• Walk your student’s schedule – Bring your students’ iPad for schedule access through student portal! Schedules available on August 12!
• Meet our school principal, administrators, and counselors.
• Sign up for the PTO - $20
• Purchase merchandise, like a Bryan Middle t-shirt or athletic wear for PE class.
• Pay for iPad insurance – you can pay online through Parent Portal - $20
• Pay for the school yearbook.
• Check out and sign up for our after-school partner, the Boys and Girls club.
• Turn in your students’ school physical, medication for the year, and meet the school nurse.
• Complete the needed paperwork for your student to participate in Athletics.

Show your school spirit all year long! Our online store will be open for the entire year, offering a variety of Bryan Middle apparel and accessories. Deliveries will be sent out every 3-4 weeks, and the designs and apparel offered may change throughout the year.

Back to School Paperwork

There are several items that we need you to complete before your student starts the school year. This includes:

• Locating their school iPad, getting it charged, and ready to bring on back to school night. Please have them update it!
• Signing up for or accessing your Parent Portal Account
• Completing the annual update of student information via the portal.
• Completing the Education Benefits Form. This form is in place of the free and reduced lunch application.
• Completing and signing the technology agreement via parent portal.

If you need assistance or access to technology, please stop by Bryan Middle from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

After-School Program – Boys and Girls Club: Bryan Middle School is proud to partner with the Boys and Girls Club for our after-school program. We encourage all Bryan Middle School students to register. Membership is free, but registration is required. You can easily register your student by visiting this link. Movie Night at Bryan High Stadium:

Join us for a fun evening at Bryan High’s stadium! Students and staff’s families are invited to a Movie Night on Friday, August 16 at 7:30 PM. We’ll be showing The Super Mario Bros. Movie at the Bryan Football Stadium. The event is free, and concessions will be available for purchase.

Adopt-A-School Food Nights:

To support our students and staff, we have scheduled a variety of Food Nights Out for this school year. These events are a great way to give back to Bryan Middle School, as each business will donate a portion of the sales to our school!

Our first event will be at Chipotle located at 10403 S 15th St. Ste 106, Bellevue, NE 68123. Chipotle will donate 25% of the event sales back to Bryan Middle School! Simply show this flyer at the restaurant or use the code XYE4:3Q when ordering.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to all our Adopt-A-School partners. We encourage our families to support these businesses as they support our school.
