St. Paul Elementary Newsletter

Attention all girls in grades 6-8 who are interested in playing basketball:

Our first practice will be Monday, October 26 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in Gym B with a short parent meeting to follow. All parents are encouraged to attend. We will be discussing the upcoming season and times of practices and games. The following items need to be completed:

• Current physical

• Proof of insurance and signed contract (completed once per year covers all seasons)

• Fee: $65 - If you would like to pay online, click here.

• Current ImPACT test (baseline concussion test)

All paperwork can be turned into the MS/HS office. If you have any questions about the upcoming season, please email Cam Tharp at cam.tharp@stpaul.k12.or.us

We will start including the PTC meeting notes in our newsletter the day/week after each meeting. Here are the notes from last week’s meeting.

The St. Paul Elementary PTC is looking for a fun and creative design for the labels for our

2026 cinnamon roll fundraiser. Therefore, we are hosting a contest to gather designs

created by our elementary students. Contest rules below:

1. Must be hand drawn, no use of computer or AI will be accepted
2. Must be created by St. Paul Elementary students in K-6th grade
3. St. Paul Elementary PTC Board Members will select one finalist from each class
4. Class finalists will be announced at the November assembly, and will receive a $10
5. Banker’s Cup gift card
6. Entry must include student name and grade (on the back of the drawing)
7. Limited to one entry per student
8. Entries must be turned into the Elementary office by 10/30/26

Use your creativity and lots of color! TIP: Markers or Crayons are best... limit use of colored

pencils as they don’t come through well on the scanner/computer.

The new St. Paul Elementary t-shirts were delivered to the staff and students. What a great lookin' group!

The back of the shirts reference our School District's Maxim, to be a reminder of our core values.

If any parents and/or family members are interested in ordering one of these shirts for $20, please email ptc@stpaul.k12.or.us and include the size/s you'd like to order. We will be placing one supplemental order, on 11/2/26, so please have your orders in by 10/30/26! Payment will be collected when you pick up the shirt.

All shirts are unisex, and available in Youth S-XL and Adult S-3XL.

Red Cross Blood Drive

Come give blood at the next Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, October 19, from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. The blood drive will be held at St. Paul High School, 20449 Main St. NE, St. Paul, OR 97137.
