Fisher Family Update October 27, 2023

Dear Fisher Families,

Thank you for taking the time to attend this week’s parent-teacher conferences. Your active participation and engagement in your student's education is greatly appreciated, and it makes a significant difference in the overall success of our students.

Your presence allowed us to have meaningful discussions about your student's progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. We appreciate your commitment to your student’s education and we believe a strong partnership between school and home is crucial for the success of our students. Family involvement in these conferences strengthens this collaboration. Working together, we can provide the best possible learning experience for your student.

Once again, thank you for your active participation and dedication to your student's education. We look forward to our continued collaboration and supporting your student's growth and development, academically and social emotionally, throughout the school year.

If you still need to schedule a conference or have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your student’s teacher or me. We look forward to seeing more of our families next Thursday night from 6pm-8pm

Please read through this edition of the Fisher Family Update for important and fun upcoming dates and events.

Enjoy the weekend,

Brian

Thanksgiving Day Giving

In the spirit of the holiday, we are looking for 15 Thanksgiving meals to be donated to provide Thanksgiving dinner for families in need. The food will be purchased and put together by your family based on the list below to feed 10 people. Feel free to reach out to another family(s) if you would like to do it together as a group. Fisher students are going to be decorating boxes for the food to be put in so there is no need to provide a basket.

Please plan on bringing the below ingredients in the grocery bags as well as a $25 giftcard to Stop & Shop for a turkey or ham in an easily identifiable envelope.

The food must be dropped off in front of the school on Monday, November 20th between 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Please check the slot to donate if you would like to participate. We are looking for 15 meals in total. If you have any questions please contact Erin Mansfied, Adjustment Counselor at emansfield@walpole.k12.ma.us, or Lindsey Moyes, School Nurse, at LMoyes@walpole.k12.ma.us

Thank you for your generosity and continued support to the Fisher community. We greatly appreciate it.

New Staff Spotlight

Each week will be introducing you to staff that are new to Fisher. This week's highlight is Ms Mulroy.

Hello Fisher families. I am so excited to be a part of the Fisher community from an educators side as well as a parent's side. I have three children, two of which are in the fourth grade here at Fisher and one at Johnson Middle School. Prior to my twins, I received my Masters in Early Education and worked as a teacher for 10 years. When I am not at school I also am a realtor and you can usually find me at the ninja gym or shuttling my children to all of their activities. I am so excited to see what the rest of the year brings!
