This week kicked off the 4th annual Camp Be A STAAR and welcomed our newest group of campers! Campers will have the opportunity throughout the week to earn punches in their Camp Card which gets them a ticket into a raffle for some gift card prizes! They’ll also be competing in some fun camp games to earn points for their team and earn trips to the Whoop Whoop Wagon! Thank you to everyone who signed up to bring snacks, drinks, and prizes. The camp counselors really appreciate it!

At the end of each day, the camp counselors choose 2 campers from each team to be Campers of the Day. This is awarded to the campers who work hard throughout the entire day, give their best effort and attitude. They have to be a team player and overall superstar!

Campers of the Day earn a trip to the Whoop Whoop Wagon, get a special badge to wear the throughout the day, and get a special seat at each campsite.

Not pictured is Jack Roseberry who was chosen as a Camper of the Day from Mrs. Warner’s class.

These students earned PE teacher of the day for raising $250 or more for Kids Heart Challenge. Stay tuned for the rest in the coming weeks!

Thank you Drew Boggs for coming to teach our 3rd-5th graders Disc Golf.
