The 8th-grade promotion ceremony will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

The event will be at Arcade Church, 3927 Marconi Ave, Sacramento, CA, 9582.

While we hold our Promotion Ceremony at the Arcade Church, there are no religious or spiritual aspects to our ceremony. The Arcade Church simply has an auditorium and parking lots that can accommodate all of our students and families for this event.

All 8th graders will be recognized during the ceremony, but will not walk across the stage, as they do at graduation. "Crossing the stage" is a special part of graduations, which we honor at the end of students' high school careers. Students who win an individual award will be called to the stage.

The Arcade staff is excited to celebrate all of our promoting 8th graders and their achievements at this event!

If you are a 6th and 7th-grade parent, think of this as “paying it forward” — next year, other parents will do the same for you!

Whether you can help with setup, handing out certificates, or cleanup, we’d love to have you join us in making this celebration memorable.

Arcade follows the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework, which creates an environment that allows all students to thrive. As part of that framework, teachers acknowledge students who are exhibiting Spartan Strong behaviors, being kind, safe, and responsible, by giving them a Spartan Strong ticket.

Last week, our final Quarter 4 raffle was held with some amazing prizes! We raffled off bikes, Beats headphones, cameras, and more!! We love to see how many tickets students receive for being kind, safe, and responsible. You can watch the announcement of the winners in the video below!

Thank you, Spartans, for being kind, safe, and responsible all year!
