Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you all for you coming out to our Parent Teacher Conferences! We loved the conversations we had with you about your children.

We need to address some things that have been happening at East Minico.....

If you’ve recently noticed your pantry emptying at an alarming rate or your child hauling a suspiciously large duffle bag to school, it might be time for a quick chat about their entrepreneurial spirit. While we absolutely admire their drive to build the next snack empire, we kindly ask that they put those business ambitions on hold during school hours.

Let’s face it—no school lunch can compete with the allure of a cosmic brownie or a bag of hot Cheetos expertly marketed from a backpack. Unfortunately, snack sales between students are not allowed on campus. We want to keep our hallways free of underground marketplaces (and possibly questionable pricing strategies).

Please help us remind your young business moguls that while their ideas are impressive, they’ll have to save their snack empire for outside of school.

Thanks for your understanding—and for keeping the pantry stocked at least a little longer!

March 21-30th Spring Break

Spring track starts this week!! Encourage your kids to come out and try something new. There are many different events for the children to participate in, so don't just think this is just about running fast. This is a sport we welcome all grades (6th, 7th and 8th).

If your child would like to participate, it will be directly after school starting on Monday!
