Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we welcome the month of February, we are excited to highlight two important focuses that are at the heart of our school community—kindness and Black History Month.

February is a wonderful time to remind our students that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Whether it’s offering a helping hand, using encouraging words, or showing respect for one another, these actions help create a positive and supportive environment for everyone.

This month also provides an opportunity for our students to learn about and celebrate Black History Month. Through classroom discussions and activities, students will explore the achievements, contributions, and lasting impact of Black individuals throughout history, while continuing to build understanding, respect, and appreciation for diversity.

It has been truly uplifting to see our students shine by demonstrating kindness toward their peers, teachers, and staff. Their compassion, empathy, and willingness to look out for one another reflect the values we strive to nurture each day.

We sincerely appreciate your continued support in reinforcing kindness, inclusivity, and respect at home, and for partnering with us to help our students grow not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. Together, we are building a community where every child feels valued, safe, and encouraged to succeed.

Thank you for being such an important part of our school family.

Abundant blessings,

Kathleen Ese

🌟🪶 Raptor Families — PBIS Campus Expectations Reminder! 🪶🌟

We are excited to continue strengthening our positive school culture through our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) Campus Expectations. These shared expectations help all students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn each day.

Please take a few minutes to review our campus expectations with your child and talk together about how they can show these behaviors at school every day.

✅ Be Respectful
✅ Be Responsible
✅ Be Safe
✅ Be Ready to Learn

When our Raptors soar by following these expectations, they earn recognition, rewards, and celebration opportunities throughout the year — and we love celebrating their success! 🎉

Thank you for partnering with us and helping our Raptors soar to success every day.

With appreciation,
