Principals Message
Dear Bentley School Families,
I can’t tell you how excited I am to be writing this first welcome message as the new principal of Bentley School. Over the summer, I’ve been looking forward to this moment when our hallways come alive again with laughter, learning, and the energy that only students bring.
I hope your summer was full of family, fun, and memories you’ll treasure for years to come. I also hope you found a little time to slow down, rest, and recharge because a brand-new school year is now in front of us, full of possibility.
As both a principal and a proud dad, I know how important it is that every child feels cared for, seen, and supported. That’s what I want for each of our students, from our tiniest Pre-K kids to our seniors preparing to graduate. My goal is to put down strong roots here, to get to know your children, and to work together with families and staff to create a school where kids feel safe, inspired, and excited to learn.
One of the very best ways you can support your child’s education is by staying connected and up to date with school news and updates. Communication is the bridge between home and school, and when we’re all on the same page, our students benefit the most.
Bentley School has a wonderful reputation as the heart of the community, and this year we’ll also be creating opportunities for parents and guardians to be actively involved. From our open house to hands-on activities and volunteer opportunities, there will be many chances for us to connect, work together, and for me to meet families face-to-face.
Here’s to a year filled with growth, laughter, and success. I can’t wait to cheer on your children, celebrate their accomplishments, and share in the moments big and small that make school such a special place.
With pride and excitement,
Adam Sia
Principal
Bentley School

Code of Conduct
Currently Under Review
All students and parents of Wolf Creek schools are required to sign their agreement to the Wolf Creek Public Schools Code of Conduct yearly as part of their returning student demographic update form. Wolf Creek Public Schools requires all schools attend to their School Codes of conduct as per Section 33 of the Education Act which stipulates that the student Code of Conduct be made publicly available and be reviewed every year by all staff, students and parents. The Code of Conduct provides all stakeholders the specifics about how each of our Wolf Creek schools are focusing on being welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environments. It outlines what is acceptable behavior and what is unacceptable behavior. The Code of Conduct also provides information about the consequences of unacceptable behavior, which takes into account the students age, maturity and individual circumstances. The Code of Conduct also explains what support is to be provided for students who are impacted by inappropriate behavior as well as for students who engage in inappropriate behavior. Our code of conduct is currently underview and will be shared with parents as soon as it is complete.

Student Safety and Threat Assessment Protocol
Wolf Creek Public Schools remains committed to the safety and well-being of all students. As part of this, our schools follow a Student Safety and Threat Assessment Protocol, developed in collaboration with local police, Alberta Health Services, and Children’s Services. This process is designed to respond quickly and supportively if a student may be at risk of harming themselves or others.
Our schools follow a zero-tolerance approach toward threats and take all reports seriously. The goal is not to punish, but to ensure appropriate supports are in place to keep everyone safe.
We appreciate your continued support in making our schools safe, caring learning environments.
