Madonna Catholic School News

Dear Madonna Families,
In this week’s Gospel, we are reminded of Jesus’ call to welcome, to serve, and to recognize God at work in our everyday moments. That spirit was beautifully reflected in our tremendous Open House last night. Despite the chilly temperatures, our school was filled with warmth, joy, and a bustling crowd eager to explore our programs and even enjoy some shopping at our very popular Book Fair!
A heartfelt thank you to our Grade 4 student leaders for proudly touring families, and to our dedicated staff for sharing their knowledge and creating such welcoming, engaging spaces. We are incredibly proud of our awesome school community and look forward to growing together as we welcome new families and prepare for the year ahead.
Also of note, our Grade 4 students participated in their Assurance Surveys today, and families should have received an email this week inviting them to share their voice as well. Thank you for taking the time to participate—your feedback is invaluable as it helps guide our priorities and continued growth.
Together, we move forward rooted in faith and community.

Mrs. Fiona Wimmer, Assistant Principal

Book Fair Success
A huge congratulations and heartfelt thanks to all the families who contributed to reaching such an impressive sales total of $5,100 in books and items this past week. Your support not only helps enrich the community but also fosters a love for reading and learning among everyone involved. Shout out to Mrs Bonsant, our school librarian who initiated this project.
