The SHARK Alert
Chatham Elementary School Community Update
CES SHARK Alert for Week of June 9th - 13th
Sunday, June 8th
Dear SHARK families and friends,
It's the final full week of school and just like every other week this year, there are lots and lots of activities happening at Chatham Elementary. A busy SHARK, is a happy SHARK! Please make sure to check the list of Upcoming Events listed below for the field trips, presentations, and meetings taking place this week.
Thank you everyone who joined us this past Tuesday for our Field Day celebration. Mr. DiNoia outdid himself and planned a day that was practically perfect in every way. In fact, we overheard some students say that in addition to Field Day being the "best school day ever" it was "Even better than a day at Disney World!" Thank you to the PTO, staff members, family volunteers, and the Chatham Fire Department for making it a day to remember!
Wishing you a wonderful final full week!
Sincerely yours,
Dr. Kelly

Returning Band and Orchestra Instruments
- Contact the company to let them you know you are returning the instrument.
- Place the student's name and identifying information in the instrument case and attach to the handle.
- Leave the instrument in the Main Office, not the Music Room!! A representative from the company will pick up all rentals left in the office. Instruments not in the Main Office will not be collected by the company and you will continue to be charged.
- Check your credit card statement to ensure charges have stopped.
If your child received one of the loaned instruments from the Daniel J Hollis Foundation and plans to continue with band or orchestra next year you do not need to return the instrument to school.
For those who will not be continuing their music study, we ask you return the instrument to the Music Room with the child's name on the instrument so we can recycle and provide it to other students to use in the future.
