Gahannathon, organized by our Student Council, is a meaningful fundraiser that supports a charity selected by the council. To enhance student participation and engagement, we plan to hold the Gahannathon assembly during the school day again this year. It was a big hit last year!

Here’s the proposed adjustment:

• The Gahannathon assembly would take place during Periods 7 and 8 on Friday, March 27.
• Our 8-period day would be moved to Friday, March 27.
• A/B days will shift to Monday through Thursday of that week.
• Monday, March 23 - B Day
• Tuesday, March 24 - A Day
• Wednesday, March 25 - B Day
• Thursday, March 26 - A Day
• Friday, March 27 - 8 Periods

Our annual Spread the Word Day is coming back this May at GLHS! Our theme this year is: “Celebrate Minds of All Kinds.”

During the week of May 4–8, we will take time to celebrate people of all abilities, with our big celebration happening on Friday, May 8.

This is a reminder that there will be no school for students on Friday, March 20.

Looking ahead, Spring Break will take place March 30 – April 3. We hope families are able to enjoy a restful and enjoyable break.

Our PASS (Positive Academic Support Solution) Room is now open after school! It is open Monday - Thursday from 3:40 PM - 5:00 PM, and is located in C-2511. The PASS Room is operated by GLHS teachers who are ready and willing to provide academic support on assignments.
