Parents, Teachers, and Students

It was never luck - The reason we are an EXCELLENT rated school is due to our incredible leadership, dedicated staff, generous community partnerships, parents and guardians that work as a team, and our Bobcat students who come to school every day ready to learn and succeed.

This Friday we celebrate our Day of Excellence, and PTO needs your help to make it a success. Please check here for how you can help. Or check out the PTO Amazon wishlist.

Please ensure your family’s contact information is up to date. If you have moved, have a new phone number, or need to update a student’s emergency contact(s), please contact our school’s data specialist at keisha.burns@beaufort.k12.sc.us. Thank you!

District Dash 5K

The inaugural District Dash / Bridge the Gap 5K was a huge success for our Bobcats! While we didn't get the most participants of all the schools, we definitely took home the most hardware.

Congrats to TJ Rodriguez, Hunter McBrayer, and Abraham Brown for sweeping their age group.

Volunteer with Youth Sports!

Bluffton Youth Sports is gearing up for another exciting season of youth baseball and softball, and they're reaching out to see Bobcat students might be interested in a great volunteer opportunity!

As a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, they rely on community support to keep things running—especially in the concession stands at Oscar Frazier Park and M.C. Riley Park.

They have weekly shifts available through mid-May, and this is a great way for students to earn service hours while supporting local youth sports. They're happy to provide documentation for public service credit.

athletics schedule

To ensure a safe and secure environment at BCSD athletic events, all spectators and athletes entering our venues will be asked to remove hoods or face coverings that obscure one’s identity, such as balaclava-style masks. This practice, which is common at collegiate athletic events, will help us maintain safety by ensuring individuals can be easily identified if needed.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Please reach out to District Athletic Director Dr. Carlos Cave for any questions.

drug and alcohol facts week

National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week (NDAFW) is sponsored by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) at the National Institutes of Health.

The goal of this annual health observance, held in the spring, is to shed light on the science-based facts about drugs and alcohol and their impact on the developing teen brain and body.

Locally, Teens for Healthy Youth (THY), is participating in Drug Facts Week.

Research shows that young people are more likely to try drugs for the first time during the summer, making spring a critical season for reaching teens with important messages about drug and alcohol use.
