Wynnton Wonders

CONGRATULATIONS!!! *** TOP 5*** We are so proud of Wynnton Arts Academy Spelling Bee winner, Naomi Regala! Naomi competed with 42 other elementary and middle school students at the MCSD Spelling Bee and she made it all the way to the top 5! It was a very tough competition and Naomi stayed so composed as she went round after round. Congratulations also to our runner up, Mariah Wiggins, as she supported Naomi at the Bee.

Woohooo! Wynnton exceeded our goal of collecting 300 pairs of shoes for the Keep Columbus Beautiful Shoe Recycling Campaign! Thank you everyone for donating to this great cause.

Parents ~ we need your help. Please complete the Georgia Family Climate Survey from the Georgia Department of Education - Click this link to let the state know how well we are doing at Wynnton!

Thank you Ms. Hicks for hosting the Parent Workshop on Wednesday. Click here to view the slide show.

The WFAA will be selling Valentine Candy Grams - look for a flyer to come home soon.

Reminders:

• School starts at 7:45 - instruction begins right away
• Please come through the line for drop-off in the mornings to keep everyone safe - remember to turn right on to Wynnton to keep traffic moving - the front loop is not a drop off area
• Students may not bring cell phones or smart watches to school
• Only sneakers may be worn as we have dance, drama, PE, and recess - no boots

Please keep us in mind as you clean out closets - we will happily accept gently worn school uniforms to add to our loan closet. Also, please see Lost & Found pictures below to claim lost items.
