Please Read the Following:

We had a successful opening week here at Bogota Middle School! A big thank you to our students, staff, and parents for their cooperation. We're excited about the year ahead!

Safety Reminder for Drop-Off and Walking to School

- For the safety of our students, please make sure that if you are dropping off your child, they are dropped off on the side closest to the school entrance. We want to avoid having students cross the middle of the street in the morning.

- If your child is walking to school, please remind them to only cross at corners and designated crosswalks, and to follow the instructions of the crossing guards. Crossing guards are posted at busy streets to ensure our children's safety, which remains our top priority.

MEDIA/PICTURE CONSENT FORM

Please make sure to complete the media consent form on your Realtime Parent Portal as soon as possible. We’re doing so many amazing things at Bogota Middle School, and we want to share our students' achievements with the community.

We would like to reiterate the importance of a few key expectations:

  • Be on time and present each day: Students should be walking into the building no later than 8:10 a.m.
  • Uniforms are required: Students must be in their uniforms every day. There are no exceptions unless it’s a designated dress day.
  • Chromebooks must be fully charged: Students are expected to bring their charged Chromebooks into school each morning.

Please note that students will receive detention if they are late, not in uniform, or arrive without a charged Chromebook. These rules are part of helping our students grow. Learning to understand consequences is an important part of preparing for adulthood. Detentions will be served at 7:30am in room 206.

Starting Monday, September 9th, full school days will resume, with dismissal at 2:40 p.m. For students who qualify or pay for breakfast, doors will open at 7:30 a.m.

All important lunch forms are filled out. You can view more information about lunch forms by clicking the button below.

PARENTS OF INCOMING 6TH GRADE STUDENTS SHOULD READ THE NURSE'S CORNER SECTION PLEASE.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call the main office or email.
