What Did We Do Last Week?
We also continued spending time getting students set up for the year- specifically getting signed up in Schoology and Remind. Schoology codes are:
Treble Choir: SC57-JCXF-M6DFZ
Tenor-Bass Choir: MFC4-KB2J-9Q43N
Chorale: 28HT-4RFN-HX3S8
Advanced Treble: BQRZ-6ZSX-5PQ35
Parent Preview Concert TOMORROW
Our annual Parent Preview Concert will be TOMORROW night in the Travis Auditorium at 7 pm. This concert will give parents a brief peak on our learning so far, as well as provide parents with a lot of information to get everyone on the same page to start the school year. Please plan to enter the building through the cafeteria doors as those will be the only ones unlocked for the concert.
Students need to be in the auditorium for warm-ups by 6:15 pm. Uniform for the concert is the gray choir polo, solid blue jeans, and closed toe shoes. HOWEVER, if your child has not been able to pay a deposit on their choir fee, they should wear a Travis shirt of some kind with their solid blue jeans and closed toe shoes.
Presto Assistant
Thank you so everyone so far who has logged in to Presto to sign forms and pay fees. As a reminder, all fees and most forms this year will be done via the Presto Assistant website. To access the website, please CLICK HERE. A few points below:
- If you are NEW to the THS Choir Program: You should have received several emails from Presto Assistant inviting you to finishing setting up your profile. I have already created a profile for every student and the first parent listed in Skyward. The email listed in Skyward is the email that should have received the Presto email. Please follow the directions to complete your profile set up in order to pay fees and sign required forms.
- If you are a returning parent who does not remember your Presto login, please follow the directions on the website to reset your password to access your account.
- If you have multiple students and both students do not appear in your parent account, please let me know so that I can ensure they are linked correctly.
- Presto Assistant does not allow student profiles to pay choir fees or sign forms so please ensure you are able to access your account.
I appreciate those of you who have reached out with your issues as I am working closely with the Presto team to solve individual issues and inform them on how to better streamline the platform for parents.

The first round of this year's All-State process will take place on Saturday, September 19 at Clements High School. All students in Chorale are required to audition, and all non-varsity students have the option to participate. I am so excited by the amount of students who have taken on this challenge! Please note, that for non-Chorale students, there is a $30 audition fee that has been added in Presto. In order for me to enter your child, this fee MUST be paid by Tuesday, September 1.
As a reminder for students in Choir AAC- students MUST audition for the District AND Region rounds to fulfill the requirements of the AAC class.

Chorale Updates
- Students are required to sing at Football Games listed on the choir calendar. These will all be performance grades for students. Transportation for football games is NOT provided so please begin planning now.
- Students are required to audition for the District round of the All-State process. Should they advance it is their choice whether or not to continue, but all students are required to learn the district round music that has been provided to them.
- Sectionals: Sectionals are offered for students auditioning in the All-State process. As of now they are NOT required, however, students need to be working independently and coming to sectionals for maximum success. They have practice tracks available to them in their Schoology course. While sectionals are not graded, the Mock Audition will be so please check in on your child to ensure they are practicing and working on the first round of music.
