PTA Weekly Update

Hello!

It's hard to believe summer is almost over and it's time to pack up the school supplies and head to Spring Brook. The PTA is here to help make Spring Brook, its teachers, families, community, building and programs, the best that it can be. You can look to this newsletter in Mr. Worst's email each week as your best resource for all things going on at Spring Brook.

Please consider supporting our efforts by joining the PTA. Your involvement can be as much or little as you wish, but your membership alone goes a long way toward our ability to provide opportunities for our Spring Brook Community throughout the year.

First up this year is our Ice Cream Social. Please consider volunteering to help make this event a success.

The Spring Brook PTA is a partnership between parents and educators to enhance learning and enrich student lives. We are proud to have a supportive school community with more than 76% of our teachers and families joining the PTA last year. We'd love to beat that number with even greater participation this year.

Click here to join today. The first 200 members to join this year will receive a calendar magnet featuring all of this year's important school dates. Classrooms will also compete for incentives through the end of our membership campaign.

Kindergarten Picnic - August 13, 2025 - 11am-1pm

Bring your incoming kindergartner after Orientation on August 13 to meet their classmates. We will gather 11-1 on the playground behind the school. Bring your own lunch and a picnic blanket. The PTA will provide a little gift for the kiddos and ice pops to celebrate the start of school.

Ice Cream Social - August 14, 2025 - 3pm-4:30pm

Come one, come all! The Annual PTA Ice Cream Social will take place on the blacktop behind the school following Meet & Greet Thursday. We will be serving ice cream treats/popsicles, popcorn and water. This is a great opportunity to join with the Spring Brook Community to celebrate the return to school! We need volunteer support, click here to sign up.

PTA Meeting - August 28, 2025 - 9:30am-10:30am

Join us for the first PTA meeting of the year. Meetings have moved back to 9:30 am this year and will take place in the Spring Brook Multipurpose Room and via Google Meet. This first meeting we will present our plans for the year and propose the annual budget.

Younger children are welcome to attend with their parents, coloring materials will be available.

Want to get more involved in Spring Brook next year? We have several PTA committee roles open for the 2025-2026 school year. From big events to behind the scenes roles, there's something for every interest and schedule.

Membership, Dough Raising, Spirit Wear & Anti-Bully Week all need committee chairs. Adult Social, Spring Fling & Kids Heart Challenge all have committee chairs assigned, but would greatly benefit from a committee of volunteers or co-chairs for additional support.
