We've had another great month at RC Edwards! Our students are wrapping up the 1st quarter, involved in over 25 clubs, practicing for winter concerts and dominating athletics. Please take a few minutes to scroll through our October updates.

The PSAT Test will be administered on Tuesday, October 7th for students who signed up to take it.

Congratulations to the students who completed the Read to Score Challenge! Way to read your way to the goooooal! For your hard work, you have received a free ticket to the match on October 18th. Join classmates, friends, and teachers at Paladin Stadium on the campus of Furman University.

Students are invited to participate in the Book Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Prizes of varying amounts will be awarded to the winners! Encourage students to see Mrs. Allen in the library for an entry form.

• Pumpkins must be brought to school on October 20th-21st.
• Judging will take place on October 22nd.
• Pumpkins will be available for viewing Oct. 23-Oct. 29th.

The School District of Pickens County is now offering virtual volunteer training for those interested in volunteering in Pickens County schools. All volunteers must complete volunteer training every school year. To complete the training process, go to the website linked here and scroll to the bottom of the page and complete the six steps. After completion, you will receive an email confirmation. If you have any questions, please email ErinAllen@pickens.k12.sc.us.
