We hope you all enjoyed Teacher Conferences last week and had an opportunity to hear about your child and their learning journey so far this year.

We are gearing up to try something new this year. We have spent a lot of time aligning our writing from grade to grade to make sure the standards are being addressed in a way that makes sense as the students are moving through the grades. This year, we will be doing ONE writing prompt for all students in grade K-4 to see the students' writing in action through the years. I cannot wait to see how this works out and look forward to sharing the results with you!

There will not be an update next week - since we only have regular full days of school Monday and Tuesday! Picture retake day is Tuesday, November 21st. There is NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, November 22nd. We will send a reminder out as we get closer.

Our next PTO Meeting is November 15th at 6:00PM. We hope to see you in the Studley Library.

PTO's Holiday Light Night will be December 1st. This night provides families an opportunity to drive through the school(s) and see light displays. We are waiting to see what other schools are participating. Stay tuned for more information.

Hello from the Studley Health Office!

We will soon begin the Massachusetts State Mandated Health Screenings. All health screenings conducted are required by law and these screenings are ongoing throughout the school year. Parents and legal guardians may request, in writing, that their child not participate in the program. This request must be written each year and be specific to which screening you do not wish for your child to participate. The elementary school screenings are as follow:

Vision Screening

Vision screenings are conducted for all grades, kindergarten through fourth grade. Parents/guardians will be notified if the student does not pass and referred to their physician for follow-up.

Hearing Screening

Hearing screenings are conducted for grades kindergarten through third grade. Parents/guardians are notified if the student does not pass and referred to their physician for follow-up.

Growth Development Screening

Growth screenings are conducted for students in grades one and four. Heights and weights are measured and calculated into BMI or body mass index.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please log into ASPEN and sign off on the student handbook for your child. Please review the directions below if you need support with the ASPEN task. Once completed, our office staff will complete the process.
