Music News

Winterfest is just two weeks away! We have reached the critical stage for auction basket donations. These auction baskets are our single most important part of the fundraiser, and we need your help! Please see this auction basket letter for the information you need about these. Donations are needed by Monday, December 2nd, but we would love to have any monetary donations ASAP so we can take advantage of Black Friday sales. Checks should be made out to GCA PTO. If you prefer to pay online, simply click here! Cash will also be accepted. Thank you for your support!

In addition, please talk with businesses you might have connections with about donating items, gift cards, or money to help us with this event. Nothing is too small, and every donation can be used for tax purposes. See the tax form here, which can be given to local businesses that are considering making a donation. Thank you for your help with this critical piece of Winterfest.

Mark your calendars for Winterfest, featuring performances by all music groups, food, carnival games, vendors, and a silent auction! The event will be at GCA on Saturday, December 7th, starting at 11 am. Here is the final performance schedule:

12:15 pm- Guitar Ensemble

12:45 pm- High School Bands and Orchestras

Students registered for the California trip: The final TAX CREDIT deadline is in December. Send your tracking form to Mrs. Branham to credit your account by the January deadline. If you have any questions about helping your student with college readiness, career planning, or other after-high school plans, please contact our College and Career Coordinator, Kieran Parker, at kieran.parker@gilbertschools.net.

If there are any specific colleges your students are interested in seeing at Gilbert Classical Academy this year, please have them fill out this form. Mr. Parker will then try to arrange a visit or obtain contact information from their representatives.

Mental Health Counseling

If you are concerned about your child’s mental health or need family support (food/clothing resources), please don’t hesitate to contact our Mental Health Counselor, Aisling Sansevere, at aisling.sansevere@gilbertschools.net.

Mrs. Sansevere has welcomed a new baby girl and is out on maternity leave until 12/09/2024. If you are concerned about your child’s mental health while she is out, please contact Dr. Hood so we can ensure your child has the proper support in place.
