Grades: Grades are updated daily in PowerSchool from Canvas.

Extra Credit: Students have various opportunities for extra credit throughout the marking period, including professional dress days, DECA participation, Exemplary Attitude Bonus Awards, community service projects, and more. Extra credit is not available after the marking period ends.

Project-Based Learning: My courses are centered around project-based learning. Tests and projects are weighted equally to ensure fairness for all students.

Canvas: All course information, including notes, PowerPoints, due dates, class calendar, and test reviews, is available on Canvas. All assignments must be submitted via Canvas for grading.

Supplies: Students need to bring a charged laptop to class every day.

Updates Home: I send a newsletter every 6-8 weeks to keep you informed.

Help: I am available after school until at least 2:45 p.m. each day for additional assistance. Lisa Sallen, our paraprofessional, is also available for one-on-one help (lisa.sallen@wbsd.org). Additionally, DECA Board members can assist with required NHS hours.
