The CRY-ROP Educational Foundation, Inc. enriches the experience of Career Technical Education students by serving as a catalyst and funding source for promoting and celebrating education success, encouraging lifelong learning, and contributing to students’ future career and educational goals. Funds raised through the Educational Foundation go directly to funding student award scholarships, which are presented at the annual Evening of Excellence.

CRY-ROP had an amazing time at Mesa View Middle School’s Career Fair 2025! A huge thank you to Aviation Teacher and Pilot Devin Baze, Culinary Teacher and Chef Kevin Cahalan, Automotive Teacher Mike Rosano, and the talented students from the CMA course for sharing their expertise and inspiring the next generation of learners.

A special shoutout to our incredible ambassadors for supporting the event and helping usher middle schoolers to each section. Your dedication and enthusiasm helped make this event a success!

On January 24, 2025, our ASL students once again had the opportunity to interpret for the keynote speaker at the Youth Leadership Conference at Knott's Berry Farm in front of a crowd of 2000 students. This marks the third year they’ve been invited, gaining invaluable hands-on experience interpreting on a live stage. Their professionalism and skill continue to impress, showcasing the real-world applications of American Sign Language. We’re incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication to the craft!

Congratulations to the YHS and CVHS Virtual Enterprise teams on their successful tradeshow in Bakersfield last week. A special recognition goes to YHS Virtual Enterprise for earning Silver in Booth Salesmanship out of 80 schools at the VE Competition & Exhibition. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication these students put into preparing for and competing in these trade shows. Their efforts continue to showcase the talent and professionalism of CRY-ROP students.
