Just a few reminders for parents when you may need to stop by school during the day. We ask that you do not visit the office during arrival or dismissal in order to ensure the safety of all of our students. You are welcome any time between 9:15 and 3:15.

The late start schedule does NOT change dismissal time. Students are dismissed at 3:35 everyday.

Help us celebrate our school with a Kendall Sprirt Day on Friday, September 28th! We'd love to see all of our students in their Red, White, and Blue to show their school spirit!

Families should notify their child's teacher at least one day in advance of any changes to their child's dismissal plan. Changes made the day of might be missed if sent via email. If you have an emergency that requires a change in dismissal, please call the main office.

To increase the safety of our students and improve communication about their location while riding district-provided transportation, District 204 has technology called MyStop. The My Stop app is available to all District 204 families at no cost and allows parents and guardians to see an estimated time of arrival (ETA) for the bus arriving at their child’s specific bus stop.

MyStop:

• Allows parents/guardians and students to view the bus stop time, location, and projected arrival time. This feature is available during scheduled route times only.

• Updates approximately every 5 seconds and adjusts the scheduled arrival time as the bus is traveling along its route.

• Will show if the bus has already passed the assigned stop.

Just a reminder that our school will have on site before and after school childcare for the 26-27 school year provided by Right at School. This is a private company that rents space in our building. For details and registration please go to https://www.rightatschool.com/. If you are looking for employment opportunities go to https://www.rightatschool.com/careers/RAS.news/careers. Additionally, there are childcare centers in our community who offer transportation to and from school. We do not recommend any specific childcare and leave that decision to parents.

IPSD 2026-2027 District Calendar

The School Health Services Department reminds parents that the required State of Illinois Certificate of Child Health Examination/Immunization form, Illinois Dental form, and Illinois Eye exam form can be found online at Health Services. Information about grade-level requirements was included in this year's registration packet. Students' immunization status and physicals will be reviewed by registered nurses and school nurses. Parents will be notified of any deficiencies. Per state law, if requirements are not met for the school year, students will be excluded from school starting on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
