Piper Early Childhood Families-

I am happy to share with you lots of upcoming school events in this week's newsletter. We have Touch a Truck on October 27th, Parent/Teacher Conferences on October 28th & 29th, Veteran's Day & First Responders Pledge on Nov.11, and Grandparent and Special Person Tea on November 20th! Not to mention the PTA sponsored Trunk or Treat on October 27th and the Parents Night Out sponsored by PMS on October 28th. Whew! Lots of fun happening in the next couple of months. All the details are below.

October tuition is now past due.

From our board approved handbook:

If tuition is not paid in full by the last day of the month, your student will not be able to return to school until full payment is received. Failure to pay fees due by the end of the month will lead to your child being dismissed from the program.

If tuition is not paid on time for multiple consecutive months, the school reserves the right to unenroll your child from the program.

Fees are accrued regardless of a child’s absences.

We encourage you to attend as we continue planning upcoming events and discussing important PTA business.

Thank you for your continued support of our students, staff, and school community. We appreciate all that our volunteers and members do to help make our events successful, and we look forward to another great year together.

Your child's teacher will be communicating your child's specific time for the touch a truck event. Parents are encouraged to attend and explore the various vehicles with their student!

If you plan to attend, please send in your ID ahead of time so we can run it through the Raptor system and pre-print your nametag.

We are excited to host parent teacher conferences on October 28th and 29th! This is a time for parents to meet with their child's teacher to discuss progress and help develop that parent/teacher relationship. Please be on the lookout for sign-ups from your child's teacher.

We are excited to host our annual Veterans and First Responders Pledge. We encourage any family members (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles) that are veterans or first responders to attend our event. We will introduce our guests, say the pledge of allegiance together, and have a photo opportunity with your student.

Specific pledge times will be communicated from classroom teachers.

We are excited to host our annual Grandparent and Special Person Tea. This is a time for grandparents to attend a special event at school with their grandchildren. There will be drinks, cookies, and a craft enjoy. If a child does not have a grandparent that can attend, we encourage a family member or friend to attend. We will also have 'surrogate' grandparents as well.

Specific event times be communicated from classroom teachers.

Google had a security update and since then we have been struggling to contact you, and vice versa!

To help fix this you can:

• Go in your spam folder, find our messages and hit the 'Not Spam' button on each email you wish to not go to spam.
• Add emails/people in spam as a contact.
