Dear Coleman Families,
It has been wonderful to see our students back at school this week, well-rested and ready to learn!
As a reminder, please ensure your child comes to school with a winter jacket. We will continue to have outdoor recess throughout the month as weather permits. If your child needs a winter coat, please reach out to Mrs. Wengler-Gomes or myself. Thanks to two generous donations from Local 513 Operating Engineers and Gray Summit Masonic Lodge, we have coats, hats, and gloves available for students in need.
Additionally, we have noticed an increase in cold and flu symptoms this week. We are emphasizing good hygiene practices throughout the building to help keep everyone healthy.
December is already flying by—there are only 10 more school days until winter break! Let’s make the most of this time together.

To ensure the safety of all students and staff, we have updated our visitor procedures. Beginning immediately, all visitors to Coleman during school hours will be required to present a valid driver’s license for scanning.
This updated procedure is an important step in maintaining a secure and welcoming campus environment. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to prioritize the safety of everyone in our school community.
