Carusi Girl's B Field Hockey Wraps Up a Great Season
On Wednesday October 14th, the Carusi girls’ B field hockey team faced John Paul II in a hard fought home game. With it being the final game, the team came ready to compete and show how much they had grown throughout this season.
Sixth grader Kaila Navarro led the offense with two goals, followed by a goal by seventh grader Keely Bonner. Finley Frost, Isla Casdia, Sofia Horiatis, and Joey Poyser also made important contributions to the team’s attack. In her first year as goalkeeper, Olivia Cherfane did an outstanding job protecting the net. Ava Falu and Eva Butler shared the sweeper position, working alongside the rest of the defense to keep the opposing team at bay, recording the shut-out.
We are very proud of our Carusi girls’ B field hockey team, and we look forward to next season!
Cross Country Wraps Up a Fantastic Season
The 2026 Cross Country Team had a fantastic season with its largest group of athletes in 5 years. The squad was able to secure decisive victories in meets at Ann Mullen, Glen Landing, and Helen A. Fort. They were able to secure second place in the Cherry Hill Championship behind top lady performers Blair Hinds, Carolina Bilbao, Soshi Yares, Drew Westervelt and Hannah Levenberg. Top finishers for the boys included Vinny Wisniewski, Logan Abel, Matt Ayala, Jordan Melendez, and Lamech Sample-Bowman. The team participated in the Camden County Championship Meet at Dream Park and placed 7th out of 13 total teams for the boys and 9th out of 13 for the girls. Unanimous MVP’s of the season included 7th grader Vinny Wisniewski who had several top 10 finishes including a first place victory and young 6th grade phenom Carolina Bilbao who led all Carusi ladies this year in top 5 finishes. Great season for Team Carusi! The squad says goodbye to long-time Coach Southard who guided Carusi to excellence for the past 5 seasons and Beck for another 17 prior.

Morning Car Drop Off Reminders
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we welcome students each morning, we experience a high volume of car drop-offs. To help ensure that the morning car line moves efficiently and safely, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following reminders and procedures.
Recommended Drop-Off Time
We strongly encourage families to begin dropping students off at 7:30 a.m. At this time, there is typically little to no line, allowing for a smoother and quicker drop-off experience for everyone.
Preparing Students for a Smooth Drop-Off
To help keep the line moving:
Students should be seated in the back seat on the driver’s side.
All belongings—book bag, lunch bag, and any musical instruments—should be ready and in hand.
Once the car reaches the side of the building and staff is directing students, we ask that students exit the vehicle promptly.
We understand that many parents prefer to hold onto their child until reaching the gym entrance; however, waiting to do so significantly slows down the line. Our goal is to get as many students out of their cars and safely into the building as efficiently as possible.
Important Safety Reminder
Please note that Surrey Road is NOT an approved drop-off location.
Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work together to make mornings run smoothly.
Car Rider Dismissal
Guardians will enter off Roosevelt, proceed to the right, and move into the staff parking lot loop up to the gym lobby doors to await student dismissal. Staff members will be present to assist. Please drive slowly through our lot as students will be crossing.
