Wrangler Round Up
8/28/26
Principal's Message
Howdy Wranglers!
As we settle into the school year, weโre excited to see our Wranglers working hard, learning new things, building relationships, and getting into the routines that help make each day successful. Keep challenging yourself, asking questions, and giving your best effort. Small steps each day add up to big growth!
Now that everyone has received their student ID, IDs must be worn and visible every day while on campus. If a student forgets or loses their ID and needs a temporary ID, there is a $1 fee for a temporary ID, or they can purchase a new one for $3. Please help us make wearing student IDs a part of your Wrangler's daily routine!
Letโs keep working hard, showing respect, and making HMS a great place to learn! ๐ค
Warmly,
Linda Cragin, Principal
Upcoming Dates and Events
Counselor's Corner
In Lewisville ISD, the whole child is at the core of everything we do as a district,
including our students' mental, emotional and physical health. With counselors
on every campus, LISD knows parents want their children to receive an
outstanding education, but more importantly, they want their children to be
nurtured and cared for beyond just academics.
LISD provides student wellness lessons over various topics throughout the year to ensure each child receives the support they need to develop every aspect of their being. Parents can preview student wellness lessons provided by the Counseling Department by visiting the link below.

Parents, if you are interested in receiving food for the weekends or over breaks, please reach out to Ms. Gonzalez. She is in charge of the CIS program on campus and helps provide basic needs resources to families. She is bilingual and can assist your family in English or Spanish!
