Dear God,

As we return to school after the winter break,
we thank You for the time spent with family and the rest we’ve enjoyed.
Bless our students, staff, and families as we begin this new term.
Fill our hearts with enthusiasm, our minds with curiousity,
and our classrooms with kindness and joy.
Help us to grow in wisdom, friendship, and faith each day.
May we work together in Your love and walk forward with hope.

Amen.

PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

I hope you all enjoyed a restful break and had the opportunity to spend some quality time with your families. The winter weather has certainly made its presence felt—cold and wet! Personally, I’m looking forward to the return of some warmer days.

As we begin Term 3, we’re excited about the many events and opportunities ahead for our students and families to engage with our vibrant school community. Highlights this term include the Catholic Performing Arts Festival, First Eucharist celebrations, our annual Sports Day, and Open Night. Please refer to the “Important Dates” section of this newsletter for further details.

Holiday Works – Naturescape Development

Over the holidays, work commenced on transforming our top oval into a naturescape for students. This exciting project is progressing well and is expected to be completed within the next month. Once finished, it will provide a flexible, engaging, and welcoming environment for all students to enjoy.

Staffing Update

With Mrs Hutchings now on parental leave, we warmly welcome Mr Eddie Gibbs to our teaching team. Mr Gibbs is a familiar face to many, having been a valued member of our relief staff for several years. We are confident that the transition for our Year 4 students will be smooth and positive.

We also welcome Ms Nicole Brown who is completing her final practicum in Year 1 this term.

3-Year-Old Kindy Launch

Our Pre-Kindy class had a wonderful start on Tuesday, with children and their families taking an exciting first step in their educational journey. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs Rutley and Mrs Baxter for their thoughtful planning and warm welcome. We’re delighted to share that our Pre-Kindy class is currently at full capacity, and we look forward to seeing everyone again next Tuesday.

Playgroup Continues

Playgroup will continue this term every Friday from 8:30 to 10:30am in the Kindy room. This free program is open to all families with children aged 0–4 years. We encourage you to come along, connect with other families, and enjoy a relaxed and welcoming environment.

2026 Kindergarten Enrolments

Interest in our 2026 Kindergarten program has been overwhelming, and we are pleased to share that we already have enough enrolments to fill one class. Before we can confirm a second class, we need additional enrolments to ensure viability. If you haven’t yet enrolled your child, or know someone who may be interested, please contact the office as soon as possible. Children eligible for Kindergarten in 2026 must turn four on or before 30th June 2026.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to a wonderful term ahead filled with learning, growth, and community spirit.
