Jr High & HS October Newsletter

We share a lot of information on social media and through the school app. You can download the app by clicking the linked button below. There is also a youtube video in the link with helpful information on navigating the app.

Open communication among teachers and parents is so important! If you are concerned about something with your student's grade(s), schoolwork, or classroom experience, please reach out to the teacher through Rooms or email. If you are having trouble getting Rooms on your phone, let me (Mrs. Mease) know, and I will do my best to help! All teachers' emails are the same (last name, first initial of the first name, followed by @crane.k12.mo.us). I hope teachers will communicate with you as well!

We will be sending AMI packets home with our 7th through 12th grade students some time between September 30th and October 3rd. These need to be kept in a safe place until they are needed. In the event of our first AMI day, more information will be shared. Please help your child keep track of these packets. There will be 6 days worth of AMI work coming home with them. Thank you!

• Friday, October 3rd is the end of the "grace week" for the 6 week eligibility check. At the end of the grace week, if students still have F's in the same classes that had F's on Friday, September 26th, they will be ineligible until the next 6 week grade check on Friday, November 7th. Your child received a printed progress report on September 26th, and they were emailed out to parents and guardians as well.
• Friday, October 17th, progress reports will be given to students. This grade check does not change students' eligibility.

Throughout the year, if you ever have questions, comments, or concerns, reach out to me, and I will do my best to help. Email is probably best as I check it quite often, but phone calls and in-person visits are always welcome as well! My email is measet@crane.k12.mo.us, and my office number is 417-723-5300. Many people have my cell phone number, and I don't mind receiving texts or phone calls at that number, however, I'm not going to post it on social media! I am happy to serve our school and community.
