Sophie-Marie, an 8th grader, is recognized as Student of the Month for her kindness, intelligence, strong work ethic, and sense of humor. She enjoys dancing, writing, and drawing, and her short-term goal is to finish this marking period with all A’s. Looking ahead, Sophie-Marie aspires to attend college to study either marine biology or brain surgery while also being part of a college dance team. She is currently reading Caught in the Horse Fire and names Math and ELA as her favorite subjects because she enjoys both writing and solving problems. Sophie-Marie credits Ms. Kuilan as her biggest inspiration, appreciating the way she not only teaches history but also shares valuable lessons about life.

Isander, an 8th grader, is recognized as Student of the Month for his intelligence, maturity, caring nature, and fun personality. He enjoys playing games, basketball, and spending time having fun with others. His short-term goal is to make the basketball team, while his long-term goal is to attend a university and pursue a degree. Isander is currently reading Stranger Things and has a strong interest in Math, which he enjoys because of his love for numbers and problem-solving. He credits Mr. McNeal as his greatest inspiration, admiring his success and happiness in life.
