Dear TRE Family,

Can you believe we only have 2 weeks remaining in the 2025-2026 school year? We can't!

We had some great events at TRE this week! 4th grade had Walkthrough CA for a few more classes, as well as put on a fantastic Gold Dust or Bust play. Students did a fantastic job memorizing their lines and lyrics. It was an impressive show! Our preschoolers performed and walked the red carpet to celebrate the close of their fantastic year. They were absolutely adorable! Our 3rd-5th grade music classes held their dress rehearsal to prepare for their Spring Music Showcase. Friday, families joined for our final Laps with Loved Ones, and our awesome PTA volunteers opened the Cool Coyote Store for students to purchase cool items at lunch and celebrate their positive kind, safe, and responsible choices. It was a great week!

We have lots to come in these final 2 weeks. Please take the time to review upcoming dates/events and mark your calendar. Teachers will also communicate with families directly regarding class-specific events/dates. As a reminder, Friday, May 22nd, is a MINIMUM DAY, and Monday, May 25th, we have NO SCHOOL in observance of Memorial Day.

May 29: 5th Grade Promotion @11:00 AM

5th Grade Promotion will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 29th. Students can bring up to 5 guests. Students will pull a row/seat number at random on their way into the promotion seating area. Guests will join their student and sit in the same row with them. No need to get to campus early to reserve seating. All families will sign in and line up outside the front gates and be let in just before the ceremony begins. As a reminder, balloons and signs are not allowed in the promotion area and must be left in your vehicle. We look forward to celebrating our 5th grade Cool Coyotes at Promotion!

This year, our 5th grade committee is working hard to create a new beautiful promotion stage and backdrop design with school colors. They have purchased items for us to use for years to come. Promotion will not be a Hawaiian theme as it has in the past. If you have already purchased something Hawaiian themed, no problem, wear it.

Students are encouraged to dress nice for promotion. As a reminder, promotion attire must meet dress code guidelines.

Yearbooks have arrived at TRE! They look amazing!

Thank you to our wonderful Yearbook Committee for all of their hard work on creating a memorable yearbook. If you purchased a yearbook by the deadline, your student(s) received it on Thursday or Friday from their classroom teacher. For those who ordered after the deadline, the yearbooks are on their way. The company has not provided the school with estimated delivery dates for those who ordered after the deadline. If you forgot to order a yearbook, it's not too late, and they arrive quickly.
