We are happy to see the trees budding and the flowers blooming. It is a great time of year to celebrate new beginnings and student growth. The home to school partnership creates a foundation for student success. Students are growing socially and emotionally. Reading levels are increasing. Benchmark scores are rising. This year has presented new challenges that teachers and students have met with optimism and determination. As we draw closer to the end of the school year, we want to express how honored we are to be a part of a famiLEE (parents, students, staff and community) that pulls together for kids. Lee SHINES!

The official groundbreaking ceremony for the NEW Caddo Mills High School will be on Friday, April 9th at 2 PM. We invite all to attend! Join us at 3049 South FM 36 for this special event!

Each month, we will focus on a specific character trait. Mrs. Hogan provides daily announcements regarding that trait to help the students put it in action. The trait for the month of March is PEACE. The parent newsletter is also attached.

We are excited to announce that our 3rd- 5th graders will have a chance to compete in our very first Elementary track meet. This is new to our district and we are excited to show off our skills. This event will be held Wednesday April 14th at Ed Locker Stadium from 6:00-7:30pm.

Save the date: Wednesday, May 26. Parents will be able to attend!

• If you would like your child tested for COVID, please call to make an appointment. Times to test are limited. A form must be filled out before a child can be tested.
• Be checking your children for head lice. If you have any concerns call or email the nurse.
• Contact the nurse if your child is absent for any reason.

• Tardy bell rings @ 8:00 A.M.

Children not in the building by the 8:00 A.M. bell are considered tardy. Please refer to our campus handbook regarding our tardy policy. If your child is tardy, please do not drop your child off. For their safety, your child should be signed in. Please call the office and someone will meet you at the door.

• If your child is absent, please send a note to the office by 3:30 P.M. on the day that they return.

• Please bring tennis shoes everyday for P.E.
