Magnificent Mustangs
Teagan , Ella , Presleigh and Joshua: This group showed respect and responsibility while working in a group on a writing assignment. They followed along, added to the discussion and stayed on task while the assignment was being modeled! They set an amazing example for others! They encouraged other to remain on task and show such leadership among their peers!
Christopher Raley, Eli Tripp, & Bradley Peterson: These gentlemen showed immense responsibility while working on a Social Studies group project. They worked together, divided the tasks, equally contributed and kept each other on task the entire class period! This showed leadership and set a great example of how to work together on group assignments
DJ held the door to the gym for all of the car riders. All of the car riders could easily get into the gym so that they could sit down and get ready to line up when their name was called.
Garrett was very diligent about completing his classwork in whole group ELA today. He even checked for missing work from the day before! This showed such responsibility! It set a great example for others!
Rise Up Award Nominations
The St. Mary’s County Citizens’ Advisory Committee for Special Education (CACSE) Rise Up Awards: The Rise Up Award recognizes a teacher, administrator, therapist, assistant to an educator, or anyone in the Special Education system who has truly gone to extraordinary efforts to contribute, in a compassionate and caring way, to the growth, happiness, and general well-being of our children with disabilities. If you are a parent or caregiver who would like to nominate a person who has positively impacted your child’s life, please consider nominating them for the Rise Up Award. When educators go above and beyond to help our children “Rise Up” and exceed in life, it is our pleasure to recognize and thank them for the amazing jobs that they do. (The nomination deadline is March 7, 2025)
