The Sheiko Weekly Update

Hello Sheiko Families,

Thank you for all that you do to support our learners at Sheiko. We know there are so many pieces to raising kids—working, homework, dinner, laundry, practicing math facts, reading together, getting showers done, packing the backpack, laying out clothes… whew! It’s a lot, and we appreciate you more than you know.

This week’s Big Announcement is all about Winterfest! We hope to see you on Friday, December 12th at 6 p.m. for this wonderful PTO event.

Our second Big Announcement is for our 4th and 5th graders as we prepare for our field trip to WBMS on December 11th for the Day of Design Launch. If you have a 4th or 5th grader, be sure to ask them about it!

Join us for Moonbeams for Sweet Dreams – Sheiko Elementary Night at Corewell Health William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak on Saturday, December 20th at 7:45 PM.

Bring your flashlights and help light up the windows to bring smiles and sweet dreams to the kids in the hospital.

It’s a simple, meaningful way to show our Sheiko love and support our community. We’d love to see our families there!

We always welcome parents/guardians to drop off lunch for their student. However, we will not accept food deliveries for students from vendors. This is a safety issue. If food is delivered from a vendor, your student can pick it up from the office at the end of the school day.
