We Had a Fabulous First Day!
Dear Clifford Families,
I just wanted to take a moment to welcome all of you and your children back to school. We had an incredibly successful start to the 2026–2027 school year, and I could not be more excited about the year ahead!
The first day of school is truly one of my favorite days of the year. I love the energy as staff and families connect during arrival and dismissal. The happy and sometimes nervous goodbyes along with the sheer excitement of seeing a new teacher and classmates, learning new names and faces, and best of all, connecting and building those genuine relationships.
As you send your children to us each day, know they are in good hands. We are committed to loving your children, caring for them, pouring into them, and helping them grow into the very best versions of themselves. It is a responsibility and privilege that we do not take lightly. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for your partnership in the year ahead.

CLIFFORD ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
Doors Open to Students at 8:45 am
Students who arrive after 9 am must enter through the main entrance.
Thank you for not parking in the Fish and Calatozzo Plaza!
Students are dismissed at 3:25 pm
Please be patient for these first few days during arrival and dismissal! It will continue to get smoother as the days go on!
- September 7: LABOR DAY - District is CLOSED
- September 9: Scholastic Book Fair Day 1 - evening shopping during Back to School Night
- September 9: National Teddy Bear Day - bring your favorite teddy to school!

Dear Clifford Families,
We’re excited to invite you to Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, September 9th, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m (link to Back to School Night Schedule). It’s always a special evening to come together, connect, and celebrate the start of a new school year! Please click on the link to view the schedule. Our Scholastic Book Fair will be open that evening for some shopping!
A Quick Note
Back-to-School Night is meant to give you an overview of the classroom experience. If you’d like to talk about your child specifically, please reach out to your child’s teacher by phone or email to set up a time.
Children at the Event
If possible, we ask that children stay home so that the evening can stay focused on family–teacher conversations.
