You still have time to share your thoughts about future improvements for Jobson and Samuell Farm North parks. Whether you could attend the Aug. 15 public input meeting or not, please contribute your input through an online survey, which will continue to be available through the end of August.

The 2021 Parks Master Plan relied heavily on Sunnyvale residents' input. Town staff is working with a design firm to revisit and update previous concepts. The updated input process will help confirm what the community would like to see for both parks before moving into final design and construction.

We hope to see you at our next Clear the Shelter Event at Sunnyvale Town Hall (127 N Collins Rd) on Saturday, September 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Here are some pets we are highlighting this week:

-Clay is a 2-year-old male mixed-breed Anatolian Shepherd. He is a very curious and independent dog who enjoys playing games and exploring new places. Clay is always quick to learn new tricks and is incredibly sweet to anybody who wants to give him attention. Just remember that a day with Clay is a day filled with adventure!

- Kodak is a 2-year-old male German Shepherd. He is a special friend who loves to to be around other people and prefers humans over other pets. He is well-behaved and is ready for a home that will provide him with attention and love.

We currently have many adoptable animals in our shelter looking for a new place to call home. Learn more by visiting our Petfinder page or calling (214) 862-4525.
