For those who celebrate—Happy Easter!

It’s hard to believe we’re in the final stretch of the school year—and it’s a big one. Between STAAR testing, field trips, musicals, award ceremonies, community events, and end-of-year celebrations, our calendar is packed with moments that highlight just how far we’ve come. Let’s stay focused, present, and finish strong together.

As we look ahead to next year, we also need your help. Please take a moment to complete our Intent to Return Survey. Your response plays a critical role in how we staff, plan, and prepare for a strong start to the 2025–2026 school year.

🌟 Volunteer Appreciation Week 🌟

I want to take a moment to thank the incredible volunteers who make Lipscomb such a special place. From our crossing guards and Watch D.O.G.S. to the Peace Pantry team, PTA and SBDM leaders, field trip chaperones, and book fair helpers—you show up, give generously, and lead with heart.

Your pride in this school is powerful, and the impact you’ve made is felt in every corner of our campus. Thank you for your time, your energy, and your unwavering support. We’re better because of you.

— Mr. Carter

Pride Member of the Week: Ms. Morse!

This week, we’re proud to recognize Ms. Morse, our incredible Pre-K 4 teacher, as the Pride Member of the Week! Her journey to Lipscomb started by chance—but turned into something meant to be.

“The first time I came to Lipscomb it was by accident. I was a substitute teacher and should have been at a different school. I became a permanent sub and was offered a teaching position the next school year. That was fourteen years ago. I believe I did not come to Lipscomb by accident. Lipscomb is where I am meant to be.”

Ms. Morse’s dedication, heart for her students, and deep roots at our campus make her a true Lion through and through. Congratulations, Ms. Morse!

Ms. Morse will enjoy a prime parking spot in our new re-striped parking lot, in a space on fitting for a Pride Member Of the Week!

Lipscomb Elementary on Friday, May 9, 2025. We are excited to have Ninja Nation coming out during specials. Students will get the opportunity to participate in the ninja obstacle course.

This course has dual lanes and can be set up to best fit our group, to accommodate a wide range of ages and abilities. They will set up racing lanes, where both lanes have the same obstacles, and participants can “race” through the course. This option includes the famous Curved Wall - a definite fan favorite!

This course is 125 ft. long, 12 ft. wide and 12 ft. tall. We encourage all students to bring water bottles.

Mark your calendars and let’s have a fun filled day on May 9, 2025!
