Message from the Principal

Good evening Farquhar Families and Staff,

We have finally made it to June!! All of our major testing days are behind us, and we're entering our FINAL 5-day week of the 2023-24 school year. Students must submit any missing assignments, take advantage of any reassessment opportunities, and submit their final assignments of the fourth quarter. We can do this! Let's go!!

If you have an 8th grade student and didn't get a chance to review the end of year announcements, they are ultra-timely tonight! With promotion rehearsal this week, it is imperative that all students are prepared.

IXL Day, our final Open ROCK day, is this Friday! Students will enjoy over an hour of self-directed wellness time at the end of the day to celebrate a fantastic year.

Thank you for your continued support and collaboration, and have an excellent week!

Our last scheduled day for Open ROCK, June 7, will be extended to one hour and will be a celebration of all the hard work our students have poured into mastering their Math and ELA skills on IXL! While all students will enjoy the extended Open ROCK that afternoon, any student who has earned a Gold Ticket by mastering 60 skills on either the Math or ELA platforms by June 5, 2024 will earn access to outdoor inflatable attractions!

Want to know how many skills your student has mastered this year? Ask them to show you on the IXL platform directly, or email your student's Math and/or English teacher. We'd love to get as many students as possible to earn access on IXL day!
