Message from the Principal

Dear Lakeridge Families:

It’s hard to believe that we have reached the final month of the 2025-2026 school year. As we head into these last few weeks, our focus is on helping every student finish the year strong, both academically and socially.

During our 8th Grade June Expectations Assembly, I shared a simple message with our students: "Starting strong is good. Finishing strong is epic." While this message was shared with our 8th-grade students as they prepare for high school, it really applies to all of our Hawks. The actions, choices, and effort students demonstrate during these final two weeks will leave a lasting impression and set themselves up for a positive start to the next academic year.

While there are many exciting end-of-year activities ahead, we continue to remind our Hawks to stay engaged in their classes and continue putting in their best effort each day. We appreciate your help in encouraging your child to complete assignments and take advantage of every opportunity to improve his/her grades.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support throughout the school year. Together, we can help our students make the most of these final days and finish the year with a strong sense of accomplishment. We look forward to celebrating a successful school year and wishing our students and families a wonderful summer ahead.

This year we are trying something exciting and new! During field day, 8th grade leadership will be hosting an optional COLOR RUN. Adult volunteers will create colorful vibes by tossing colored powder for students to run through. Students who choose to participate should wear clothes that can get dirty. While the powder is corn starch based and not meant to create permanent color on fabric, it can STAIN WHITE OR LIGHT COLORED CLOTHING. We will share this information with students in advance of the color run, but reminders at home to wear appropriate clothing are appreciated.
