PTA News
As we approach March, we wanted to share the exciting events, updates, and opportunities happening in our school community. Please take a moment to review what's going on this month:
1. Kids Bingo – Save the Date!
Kids Bingo was rescheduled to Friday, March 14th, due to a scheduling conflict. We are still looking for a few volunteers to help us out that night, if anyone is interested please let us know. Doors will open at 6:30 and the first game will start approx. at 6:45. There will be a concession table with drinks, snacks and pizza to purchase from.
2. PTA Meeting – Tuesday, March 11th
Join us for our next PTA meeting on March 11th at 7:30pm in in the cafeteria or through zoom.(a link will be sent out the day of the meeting) We’ll discuss upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and any important school updates. Your input is always appreciated!
3. Tshirts!
Tshirt forms were sent out last week. We ask that all forms are handed back by Wednesday, March 19th. We plan to get that order in by the weekend, and hope shirts are available to us by the end of April. Each student and staff member will receive a FREE shirt. If anyone is interested to purchase one, they are $10 each for size Youth X Small to Adult Extra Large and $12 for Adult 2Xlarge to 4Xlarge. Payments acceptable are cash or a check made payable to Hamburg PTA. You can also purchase your shirts online at https://www.zeffy.com/ticketing/hamburg-shirts
4. Egg My Yard Fundraiser:
Thursday, March 20th begins Egg My Yard. Forms will be sent home to those interested in having it done for Easter weekend. Forms are due back by April 9th. If you are interested in donating eggs or stuffers, please reach out to us. We truly appreciate all donations, help and support for our fundraisers.
5. Family Movie Night:
Friday, March 28th at 7pm is Family Movie Night. This is not a drop off event. All students must be accompanied by an adult. There is a $2.00 entry fee and with that is a chance to win the movie of the night! Right now you can vote online for which movie you would like to see play the night of. Here is the link to vote: https://forms.gle/mL42oMsiJgrDgNyW7
6. Sound System:
We have raised $3,275 so far for the sound system. We are so close to hitting our goal of $7,000. If you or anyone you know would like to sponsor the PTA to help raise money for the sound system, please feel free to send them our flyer. No donation goes unrecognized or is too little to help! We are looking to close out sponsorships by March 31st. Thank you to those you have helped us raise money in making this happen for the school. We truly appreciate your generosity.
7. Gertrude Hawk:
Gertrude Hawk form orders are due back no later than Wednesday, March 12th. Thank you.
