COLT CORNER

Principal Notes

Dear CMS Families,

This week we were honored to host some amazing veterans! Our band, choir, and PTA contributed to a wonderful assembly as a small token of our appreciation for our veterans. Thank you to all who attended and contributed to the event! I want to thank everyone for their patience and flexibility this week as we dealt with the water main break. Our students and staff were resilient throughout the day. Hopefully by Tuesday our carlines and bus lanes will be back to normal!

GO COLTS!

On Friday, November 21st you can drop off a FROZEN turkey or ham to Dads’ Club Representative in the morning carline. All donations will be delivered to GRACE to help families in need during this holiday season.

COLT PRIDE AWARDS!

Every week our staff members have the opportunity to nominate one CMS Student to receive a Colt Pride Award. These students have demonstrated at least one of our Colt Pride Values: Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Discipline, Excellence! Way to go COLTS!

PTA

Welcome to Colleyville Middle School PTA! Our goal is to connect with our school community by hosting fun events such as Back to School Social, Spirit Nights and so much more. We partner 100% with our wonderful school to make it the very best! Your PTA memberships and donations fund various school improvement projects, school programs, and continuing education for our teachers. We can’t wait to partner with you!

THANKSGIVING PIES FOR CMS STAFF

It's our favorite time of the year, time to show our thankfulness to our staff members with pies! Each year, just before Thanksgiving break, our CMS PTA provides a full size pie to each staff member as a token of appreciation for all that they do. This year Buttermilk Sky Pie is baking our pies, and the staff will pick their flavor. Our families are able to sponsor a pie (or multiple!) for a staff member for $35 each. Pies will be delivered with a list of each sponsoring family on November 20th, before Thanksgiving break.
